By accessing or using Free University Tools (“the Site,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including browsing any page, clicking any link, or using any feature, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and Disclaimer (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Site. Your continued use after any changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Free University Tools is an informational directory and link aggregator. We curate and organize links to third-party websites, applications, and services (“Third-Party Services”). We do not own, operate, control, host, or provide the tools, software, content, or services listed on the Site.

Listing a tool does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, guarantee, sponsorship, or affiliation with its operator. “Free” or “free tier” labels reflect our understanding at the time of listing and may change without notice.

Nothing on this Site constitutes legal, financial, medical, academic, career, or other professional advice. Content is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. You are solely responsible for evaluating whether any tool or resource is appropriate for your situation and for complying with your school, employer, or local laws and policies.

We use a lightweight, privacy-friendly hit counter (hits.sh) to estimate how many times pages on this Site are viewed. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not collect personal information for advertising. Aggregate visit counts may be shown publicly (for example it will display the *number* of user visits on our GitHub README).

The Site contains links to external websites and services. When you leave our Site, you are subject to the terms, privacy policies, and practices of those Third-Party Services. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for:

• the content, accuracy, availability, or security of any Third-Party Service;
• any transactions, accounts, or data you provide to third parties;
• malware, phishing, scams, data breaches, or harmful content on external sites;

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components, or that any listed tool will remain free, safe, or suitable for your needs.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL FREE UNIVERSITY TOOLS, ITS CREATOR, OPERATORS, CONTRIBUTORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO:

• your use of or inability to use the Site;
• your use of any Third-Party Service linked from the Site;
• unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data;
• any conduct or content of any third party on or through external services;
• any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in listings or descriptions.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) TEN U.S. DOLLARS (USD $10.00).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

You expressly acknowledge and agree that you use the Site and all linked Third-Party Services at your sole risk. You are solely responsible for:

• verifying the legality, safety, and appropriateness of any tool before use;
• protecting your devices, accounts, and personal information (e.g., using antivirus software, strong passwords, and caution with unknown sites);
• complying with academic integrity policies, copyright law, and applicable regulations;

Trademarks, logos, and service names appearing on the Site belong to their respective owners. We do not claim ownership of third-party intellectual property. Site layout, original text, and curation are protected by applicable copyright laws. You may not scrape, reproduce, or redistribute substantial portions of the Site for commercial purposes without permission.

You agree not to use the Site to violate any law, infringe others’ rights, distribute malware, attempt unauthorized access, harass others, or misrepresent your affiliation with us. You may not use listed resources to engage in copyright infringement, academic dishonesty, unauthorized access to systems, fraud, or any activity prohibited by your school, employer, or local authorities.

We may restrict access at any time for conduct we deem harmful to the Site or others.

The Site is intended to help students discover publicly available tools for learning, productivity, and research. It is not a marketplace, file host, or provider of pirated content. We do not verify that every linked service complies with copyright law or institutional policies in your region.

If you believe a listing should be removed, contact us on Telegram (@delexoo). We are not responsible for content on external sites and cannot remove material hosted elsewhere.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Free University Tools, its creator, and contributors from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your use of any Third-Party Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

Voluntary donations support maintenance of the Site. Donations are not payments for goods or services, do not create any obligation to provide specific content or features, and are generally non-refundable unless required by law or the payment processor’s policies.

We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be noted on the Site. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Free University Tools regarding use of the Site.
